Lauren Basque is our current Chapter President! She is a third year Nursing Major with a Psychology minor, from Lunenburg, Massachusetts. She loves being able to connect with fellow Executive Board members, other members of Sigma Kappa, and other men and women in the Greek system through this role. Along with being the President, she works at Boston Children’s Hospital, and enjoys running, working out, and reading in her spare time. She is looking forward to the positive changes that can be made for Sigma Kappa.
Executive Vice President
Emmie Lewis is our current Vice President of Standards and Values. She is a junior Managerial Economics major from Amherst, New Hampshire. She wanted to take on this role in hopes to positively impact the chapter and our members by emphasizing positive standards and how to live out our values. If it wasn’t for Greek life she would have never met such amazing people. She is thankful that Sigma Kappa has given her the opportunity to grow as a leader and an individual. Vice President of Programming
Tara Khalil is our current Vice President of Programming! She is a third year Kinesiology major on the Pre-Physician Assistant Track from Wilmington, Massachusetts. She loves her position because she gets to help organize educational programming for her chapter; she focuses on programs that sisters are excited to learn about. She enjoys her role because it allows her to practice her leadership skills, as well as her public speaking skills. Along with her position in Sigma Kappa, she is involved with Umass FTK on there steering committee as the Director of Hospitality. Tara works as a part time Emergency Medical Technician in the area and she is a Teaching Assistant for Kinesiology 100. After Graduation Tara plans on working in a hospital in Boston!
Vice President of Membership
Rachel Gullotti is currently the Vice President of Membership! She is a junior Finance major with a minor in international relations. She is so excited to play a major role in picking the new member class for Fall 2019 and hopes to bring a new vibe to Sigma Kappa to showcase how unique our sisters are! Rachel is also involved in FTK Umass on the steering committee helping raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. A fun fact about her is that she was a competitive figure skater when she was younger!

Kayla Giuggio is a junior hospitality and tourism management major with a psychology minor. Kayla loves to travel and meet new people. She enjoys this role because it allows her to connect with the previous members of Beta Eta, forming a close bond and realizing we are all united in our love for Sigma Kappa.
Vice President of New Member Education
Cassie McGrath is a sophomore journalism and political science double major and a candidate for a certificate in international relations. Her dream is to become a foreign correspondent and has dedicated much of her time to achieving this goal. She is from Rowley, Massachusetts a small town on the North shore. Her passions include travel, reading and nutrition. Cassie's favorite part of Sigma Kappa is getting to know a variety of different types of people who she wouldn't have the privilege knowing otherwise
Vice President of Communication
Sarah is a sophomore communications and political science double major from Needham Ma. She loves her position because it’s helped further develop her organizational and interpersonal skills. Sarah has learned to work with a variety of people and balance Sigma Kappa with her school, work, and social life!
Vice President of Philanthropic Service
Hannah Jung is our current VP of Philanthropic Service. She is a second year Hospitality and Tourism and German double major, minoring in economics from Connecticut. She enjoys this role because it allows her to plan events that bring our chapter together within both the community of UMass and the surrounding area. Her goal is to make volunteering and giving back to the community a fun and rewarding experience that every person is proud to be a part of. Katie is our current Vice President of Academic Excellence! She is currently a sophomore majoring in biology and neuropsychology. Katie enjoys this role because it allows her to combine her love for learning with her love for Sigma Kappa. Along with her position in SK, Katie is on the executive board for MEDLIFE, an RSO at umass. A fun fact about Katie is that she has a golden retriever named Bear
Vice President of Finance
Esther is our current Vice President of Finance! She is a junior majoring in psychology from Sharon, Ma. Esther enjoys being the Vice President of Finance because it’s giving her valuable experiences that she can take with her later in life!
Tessa Cudmore is the Panhellenic Delegate for Sigma Kappa. She is a sophomore from Canton, MA and majoring in Kinesiology with the hope of becoming a Physician Assistant. Tessa enjoys serving as the Panhellenic Delegate because it allows her to be more involved in not only Sigma Kappa but the Panhellenic community at UMass as a whole. Her favorite part of Sigma Kappa is the relationships she has formed with her pledge class and the experiences that she would have never had without being involved in Greek Life.
Jackie Joyce is our current social chair. She is a sophomore business major. In her free time she loves doing pilates and spending time with her friends. Her favorite part of Sigma Kappa is her pledge class and how close they all are! She loves being social chair because it feels good knowing that people appreciate the hard work that is put into planning events. It has also brought her closer with her sisters and other people in Greek life!
Kay O'Connor is the 2019 House Manager for Sigma Kappa. She's a sophomore and is from Quincy, Ma. She's a Communication Disorders major with a minor in Psychology. She hopes to be a speech therapist in an elementary school after graduation. As House Manager, Kay focuses on how the house is run with the goal of making it a comfortable environment for everyone. Her favorite part of Sigma Kappa is the new relationships she made with girls she'll never forget, and all the opportunities Greek Life has given her.
Megan Sweet is our current ritual chair! She is a third year kinesiology major, with a psychology minor, from Chatham New York. She enjoys the role of ritual chair because she believes ritual is one of the most important parts of Sigma Kappa since it unites us all as sisters, and is tradition for our sisterhood. A fun fact about her is that she loves sports, especially football, and her favorite quote is “if you get tired learn to rest, not to quit.”
Madi Skraly is a sophomore from Westborough, MA and is currently pursuing a double major in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She has always been passionate about music and is so excited to be able to share that with the rest of the chapter! In her free time she loves to spend time with her friends and family.
Mikaela Hensen is a Junior honors Management major from Baltimore, MD. Upon return from study abroad in New Zealand for Fall 2018, Mikaela has been serving Sigma Kappa as the Sisterhood Chair. She loves organizing the sisterhood retreat and bringing the Beta Eta community closer together! In 2019 she has accepted a position at Cowen on their Investment Banking TMT Team at the New York City office. On campus she is on Isenberg’s Women in Business Exec Board and works to mentor females in the business school. Mhensen@umass.edu
Annie Marshal is currently serving as our spirit chair! She is a sophomore journalism major from Cape Cod, MA. She loves being spirit chair because she loves seeing our sisters around campus repping Sigma Kappa! Along with being spirit chair, Annie is a member of UMass’s College Against Cancer Relay for Life team, UMass’s special olympics team, and writes for the UMass student blog. A fun fact about her is that she has her own blog!
Diana is our current Webmaster. She is a second year Public Health major from Long Island, New York. She enjoys this role because she wanted a way to become more involved in the chapter. In her free time she enjoys traveling and hanging out with family and friends. Diana aspires to become a Nurse Practitioner in the future.
Lydia Shields is our current Triangle Corespondent! She is a freshman from Destin, Florida majoring in Political Science on a Prelaw track. Lydia loves being the triangle correspondent because she gets to share the exciting and interesting works of Beta Eta sisters with Sigma Kappas all over the nation. She has so much pride in her chapter and enjoys showcasing all it has to offer. Along with being the Triangle Correspondent, Lydia serves as the Panhellenic Vice President of Public Relations and has a strong appreciation for sisterhood. A fun fact about Lydia is that she loves EDM and is learning to mix her own music. Her favorite quote is, “Forever is composed of nows.”
Tara Steiner is our current Historian. She is a second year Public Health major with a minor in Psychology. She is from Long Beach, New York and her favorite part about UMass is the amazing friends and faculty she has met along the way. Her favorite part about living in Sigma Kappa is Sue's cooking!
Public Relations Chair
Mackenzie Sideleau is our Public Relations Chair. She is a junior Public Health and Psychology major from Leominster, MA. In addition to Sigma Kappa she is also the Director of Hospital and Family Relations for FTK, as well as a Greek Health Advisor at UMass. A fun fact about herself she has an Australian Shepherd named Mocha.
Stars of Excellence Chair
Lindsay is the SOE chair for the chapter. She is a sophomore biology major and a Spanish minor who hopes to go to med school. She enjoys this position because it allows her to interact with all of the officers and oversee all aspects of the chapter. She is from Southampton Mass and is also an EMT and Pharmacy Technician. A fun fact is that she loves country music.
